FUSION OF FLAVOURS
DHANSAK
Mutton or Lamb dhansak.
500gms.Toor Dal(preferable) or Red Lentils (Washed & Soaked)
150gms. Pumpkin
200gms Tomatos
1/2 Bunch Coriander leaves chopped
2 Tbsp. of Manny's Lentil Fusion
1 1/2 tbsp. Of Everest Ginger /Garlic Paste
salt to taste.
3 Tbsp. Olive oil.
1 large onion chopped.
Method:
Heat oil, add chopped onions,ginger/garlic,chopped tomatos and fry for a minute. Now add Pumpkin,Coriander and lentil fusion,salt and fry for a minute. Now add soaked Toor Dal and fry for a minute. Add Lamb or chicken or beef and fry for a minute. Add 1 1/2 cups of water and let it cook on medium heat for 40 minutes till the meat is cooked. Just before serving add lemon juice.
RICE:
2 cups of Basmati Rice washed once in cold water. 2tbsp. of olive oil, 1 small onion chopped, 1 tsp of ginger/garlic paste, 1Tbsp. brown sugar, salt to taste. 4 cups of water
Method:
Heat oil on low flame . Add sugar till it becomes brown not burnt. Add chopped onions , ginger/garlic paste and cook for a minute. add salt. add the washed rice and fry for a minute. Add 4 cups of water and let it take a boil. Cover the pan and simmer for 20 minutes on a very low flame till the rice is cooked. Switch of the heat,lift the pan and gently stir the rice with a fork so as not to break the grains. Serve with the lentils.
