What's The Wine, So Your Curry Can Shine?
Indian food has such complex flavours and tastes, that pairing a good wine can be quite a challenge. Here in Australia we are blessed with a wide selection of exquisite ,yet resonably priced wine . It is now possible to pair a wide range of wines with Indian food.
Spicy food goes well with wine that is less Tannic. Since all palates are varied , here are some general guidelines for choosing wines with your favourite Indian food.

Butter Chicken : Chardonnay.
Coconut base sauce: (sparkling wine)
Saag Paneer : Riesling
Lamb/Chicken Curry : Shiraz
Vindaloo: Merlot & Shiraz
Biryani : Pinot Noir
Tandoor Chicken/Fish : Beaujolais
